Running iMac OS 10.13.6
I had hoped to use a guided edit and even printed out the directions at one time. I did locate my directions source in PSE 19 for this Puzzle Effect Guided Edit but I am wondering if it is no longer available or something. I have never used these guided edits before but for the life of me I cannot figure out how one gets started. Step one says, "Click Small, Medium or Large, to select the size of the tiles that your photo will be sliced into." But I have no idea where to select these nor where to put my photo. It looks like directions with no place to go.
Anyone?

Hi Pat, I also have PSE 2019 (two copies). I guarantee -- the Puzzle Effect is available and working. First, you need to open your photo in Guided Edit (Guided Edit > Fun Effects > Puzzle Effect). Then, follow the steps shown on the right side of the working space. Once you have completed the 1st step (selection of the tile sizes), the next step will automatically activate itself and you can continue. Hope this helps! Post back if you have further questions. Step one says to Click on one of the buttons below. Elements will place the puzzle pieces for you, all you are doing is selecting if you want small, medium or large pieces.  |
