I realize "doesn't work any more" is not very helpful. What happens is that the three channels do not open and appear in a boz. When I click on the thumbnail I get two messages something like "Command Make is not avaiable" and then "Command Channel Mixer is not available". I'm using PSE13. I realize Grants Tools is not supposed to run in 13, and but somehow Channel Mixer was doable.

Paul, sorry to hear you are still having problems with Grant's Tools. I also have PSE 13 (installed on two computers). I have no problems running Grant's Tools Channel Mixer in this version. When I run it via either the Actions panel or the Effects panel, the Channel Mixer dialog opens up and no error message is displayed. Error messages such as the ones you are getting -- "Command Make is not available" and "Command Channel Mixer is not available" -- seem to indicate that the wrong layer was selected when you ran this action. Ex.: an Adjustment layer. Make sure that the Background layer is selected.   |

Bingo! You nailed it Sepiana! I didn't have my Background Layer selected (I chose to choose the second entryway of the two you have illustrated.) Good to have Channel Mixer accessible again. I must have been lucky to have it selected all along before now.

So far I'm ok with the Effects loading route, but it's good to know I have a backup by way of the Actions entry. Not often do we have more than one way to skin the cat!
