Hi,
I set up a slideshow in FastStone but it produced an .exe file which recipients computers would not accept.
I have decided to use the slide show facility in Organizer., but despite having spent hours on the manual and on other tutorials, I have been unsuccessful.
I have created an Album which I re-arranged the order and sorted them using "Album Order.
From the dropdown menu generated by "Create" I selected "Sideshow"
A window appeared " Generating Preview"
When it was complete, it ran the preview using a theme and music I did not want.
I wanted no theme, no fancy transition, and music of my choice.
When it had completed the preview, I selected the Theme icon and tried to alter the theme to "none.
There does not appear to be a selection that will just show the images with a simple fade in and out.
I then selected the media icon, a Text page with no connection to the content had been inserted, I right clicked and selected Remove.
I wanted to add the slideshow Title to the first slide in the sequence, but could find no way of doing so.
I wanted to add voice captions but once again could not find an editing menu.
I then selected the Music Icon and was presented with the audio menu.
I managed to add a new track of my own choice to the list of available tracks. I added this to selected tracks and removed the existing track.
To close the audio window I re-selected the media icon.
I had only three options "Add captions", "Add Text Slide" and "Add photos and videos", none of which I wanted to do.
I then double clicked on the Media Icon. It generated another preview, this time still with the theme I did not want, but it had the correct sound track.
According to literature I should be able to access an edit menu where I should be able to :
The tutorials indicate that all of the above can be done in the slideshow edit menu, but I can't find the menu.
I apologize for being so long winded, but I would appreciate help in accessing the menu.

According to literature I should be able to access an edit menu where I should be able to :
- Set transition type and length.
- Alter the time each image is displayed individually
- Add voice captions
- Remove the unsuitable themes.
- Add a Title to an existing image and edit the Text.
The tutorials indicate that all of the above can be done in the slideshow edit menu, but I can't find the menu.
I apologize for being so long winded, but I would appreciate help in accessing the menu.
