Thanks all. Helen, fortunately they were well lighted (as the light was bouncing off the skiff of fresh snow on the ground) and the shutter speed was 1/1,000 second. I also take a LOT of OOF and motion-blurred photos. Bin rate is high. Karen, yes very pointed tails. Jacki, yes one female and four males. Was back out again today and most pleased with the photo ops. Might post a couple tomorrow. Clive
