My selections - in no particular order by pontiac1940 The image shows a great use of the right aperture to blur the background while keeping the bird is sharp focus. This capture of the bird maintains its great complimentary colors.
by hmca This is an excellent example of the use of a very monochromatic color palette. The texture of the pedals are well maintained. The branch anchors the flower in the image so it does not appear to be just floating.
by blackmutt A very good capture of the young pup. The blurred background subjects add to the story of this Image and keeps the focus on this very sharp pup.
Image of the Weeks by Sepiana The creative style of the lines and color really add to this image. The use of a black background makes this colorfully image standout even more. Overall this is a very striking image very well done.
Thanks for bringing your expertise to the judge's chair this week, Frank. I certainly wasn't expecting to see my image included so I liked reading why you chose it. Congratulations to Clive and Judy and special congratulations to Sepiana for her IOW selection. I know a teenager who would love to have that hanging on his wall!
