Is there a way to increase the size of the Layer block itself to make the Layers themselves below look larger?

Charles. I wish there was a way to make the Layer thumbnails larger. Sadly, I don't believe it's possible. The size is determined by the Adobe programmers and the computer screen resolution. In the full photoshop, you can right click the layer icon and select "large icons". However, if I understand correctly, the layer icon size in PS Elements is already by default what Adobe consider the "larger size".
I did experiment with the Windows 10 built in "Magnifier" app but it drove me crazy and I decided I was better off without it. There may be other magnifier apps that are more user friendly.
Kind regards Chris

I must have a different version of elements - that feature has been available for a long time.

Inspeqtor, Just adding some information . . . If you select the Layer Bounds setting in Thumbnail Contents, you will get a larger view of any object surrounded by transparency. Elements will enlarge the object as much as possible within the thumbnail without showing all the empty space around it.
