I don't know the name............. It is in my neighbor's yard, I snapped this shot off this morning in the bright morning sun. I didn't do to much to it,cleaned the background up of the hot spots,did some selective sharpening,ran the despeckle filter and added a black vignette. Shot with the Macro Mode selected and a Raynox 250 filter in place.Working distance just a few inches ,maybe 9 or 10. Work done in PSE11/Win8.. Before After dick

Excellent - Amazing how sharper it is after - My guess is Marigold (and it is only a guess!!)

Definitely sharper in the second image and the pistils look almost on fire. Quite a dynamic change, Dick.

The increase in detail in photo 2 really improves the look of the flower.
