Thank you Jan,
He was nice enough to slowly let me creep closer and closer taking another shot with each step to get the shot I got this last one!

Great Rabbit Shot; Sharp as Nails.
Maybe I am wrong; but, are those big blood-filled ticks on his/her neck ? I see at least three.

Thank you Buckskin.
You know I also saw them but did not know what they were. I think you are very correct... I would say a small, medium and a very large one!
Or maybe one small and two large ones....

Or maybe one small and two large ones.... Get close enough and throw a big handful of Sevin Dust on him and the ticks will soon fall off. Parasites are rough on poor defenseless animals, especially those so low to the ground. Insects and parasites are taking over since the powers that be have outlawed all the good stuff.

I have never heard of Sevin dust before. I did a search on Amazon which brought up a singing group called Sevendust that I have also never heard of. Getting close enough to toss some dust on a rabbit? I was probably 20-30 feet away (wild guess here) so I would not have gotten close enough before he ran off. I did not see the ticks when I was taking the shot to know he needed help.

I have never heard of Sevin dust before. Here you go: www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/sevin-5-dust-1-lb-shaker-bottle?cm_vc=-10005We used to buy it in a big bag, probably ten pounds. We would catch up the dogs and work handfuls into their hair. Sling some around in the doghouse and kill all the fleas. Kid get lice or mites, catch him up and dust his head good; then, boy or girl --- it didn't matter, take the big Sunbeam mule clippers and mow his/her hair off to the hide; this has the advantage of preventing cross-contamination on the school bus = a kid sees another kid with his head shaved = he knows he probably has lice and won't set close enough to catch them. Bedbugs = plenty of Sevin Dust and problem solved. This politically correct stuff that I linked to probably isn't half as strong as the real deal. To dust your rabbits, make a set of rabbit trap triggers and catch them in a box trap; or, use one of those store-bought live-catch traps; you can dust him through the wire and then turn him loose. --- Don't get bit.
