This mule deer yearling doe was standing on a low grassy hill about one hour before sunset today, May 30. At the summer place.

She still has her scruffy winter fur that it will soon shed. If that seems late, there was snow here last weekend and it was 2°C here at 6 AM today!! And 26°C this afternoon. Wednesday and Thursday will be 30°C here. Spring in the high country! Freezing to hot!

First day of winter tomorrow, not happy.
