I worked with Topaz Labs a bit over 1 week. I sent them an original photo straight from camera. This is what they told me about my moon photo:
In full transparency, we don't know when a future version can work with this specific image. The problem here is that the original image also has artifacts that can cause the algorithms to struggle. However, with future updates training, we will work on trying to reduce artifacts during sharpening. We'll also implement some improvements to the models of Sharpen AI in an upgrade going out in July and I'd recommend giving it a try.
I am not impressed with their software.
