I think is a longboard paddle board.... One of those inflatable paddle boards. Very popular. Our small-city-sized summer lot has two RVs on it both connected to a central water-pressure system that I built 17 years ago. I have to fill the cistern on our lot. Tonight I got three loads of water at the standpipe in Cowley. Even in this small village you can pay by tapping vs annoying coins. One load was for the cistern and two for the trees and flowers as irrigation has been cut off and the soil is dry.

I got three loads of water at the standpipe in Cowley How long will a tank last you ?
That caged tank sure is a familiar sight to anyone living near The Gate Capitol of the world.
The paints and various other carcinogens that the gate shops use comes in those tanks and the country around here is inundated with the empties; I have not checked lately; but, they were selling for ten bucks apiece.
People repurpose them for all sorts of needs; they make wonderful fuel tanks and many use them just as you are as a water hauler --- even though they have big letters on all sides = Single Use ONLY - Do NOT Reuse - Must Be Destroyed.
One guy I know had trouble with a big creek eroding and damaging his property; instead of paying a fortune for those purpose-made wire baskets of rock or those huge pre-cast concrete tongue-&-groove blocks, he cut a big hole in the tops of a bunch of them, filled them with gravel and rock from the creek, and used them as erosion control against the creek banks.
We have a weird deal at the local City Hall/Fire Department; if you flush the toilet more than twice, your already astronomic water bill will double; however, they have a self-serve stand-pipe beside the fire department that takes a single dollar bill to turn the water ON and it stays ON, no matter how big a tank nor how many trucks, until you turn it OFF --- for one dollar.
It is kinda funny to watch some of the people trying to manipulate this; as, as soon as it sucks your dollar out of your fingers, that big fire-hose comes ON with amazing force, whipping all over the place and soaking anyone around; but, if you are quick and have some help, you can switch it from tank to tank and truck to truck without getting drowned --- but I can assure you you will get wet.
As Kentucky is pretty much water-logged all over, the biggest use of this stand-pipe is in filling milk tankers that deliver it to backyard swimming pools.
Oh...forgot to ask... what is "pay by tapping?"

One of those inflatable paddle boards. Very popular. Possibly, but it didn't seem to be, Clive.

BuckSkin, there is a lot of food processing in southern Alberta so safe, food-grade tanks are plentiful. I've been hauling water with this tank for 17 years. Oh...forgot to ask... what is "pay by tapping?" The control panel has coin slots but also has one of the devices to pay. Users only have to tap a credit car (with chip) to make a payment. The default charge is $2 which 80% fills the tank and that's all I want to haul because my pickup is a half ton vs 3/4 ton.

Two headin' to the beach pictures. The first was taken through the car window when I was coming home this morning. It is not unusual to see people with their beach chairs on their back but I was a bit surprised to see the umbrella! Later in the day, I saw these surfers going down the road. I took a few pictures of them. Although it looks like hers is a skimboard, in another picture you can see that it is a full-sized board.

Darner dragonflies at the ponds. I will not be taking questions about how many photos were taken to get a few semi-decent flying shots.

Darner dragonflies at the ponds. Excellent action shots of an impossible target.
I was putting Henry's fly-tag-equipped halter on his head a couple days ago and there were two Dragonflies and a very large/long black Damselfly caught in his mane --- all three still alive.
I can't hardly get sight of one and here is Henry with three tangled in his mane.

Excellent and amazing capture Clive! The details look very impressive at full size. Your patience was rewarded!
Reminds me of a photographic magazine from the film days. It discussed how a photo was made that featured a fish in a bowl advertising a product. The photographer was asked, "How did you get the fish to look in the right direction with the perfect expression? His reply was something like, "Well, after 575 shots, it's natural"!
Kind regards Chris

Thanks Buckskin. It was a lucky streak. They are so hard to photograph unless they hover for one or two seconds...even then. Well Henry has the advantage of having a natural insect trap, eh? Excellent and amazing capture Clive! The details look very impressive at full size. Your patience was rewarded! .... "Well, after 575 shots, it's natural! Thanks Chris. Yesterday's effort was a bit easier than usual. The were quite a few dragonflies where I was standing watching some coots and canvasback ducks. They were darting about just above the cattails at eye level. I pre-focused (in AF) on cattails at about 3 to 4 m away. When one was in the zone I tried to find it in the viewfinder and hit the back focus button and shot 10 fps. There were a few ops in a few minutes and I actually only took~ 80 photos in a few bursts and captured a 5 or 6 decent pictures. Thanks, Clive

How long will a tank last you ? Sorry, I missed this. A full, 1,000-liter tank lasts us 40 person days. About 3 weeks if my wife and I are both there. We use about 6 US gallons per day per person for flushing, dishes and showering. We use bottled water for drinking. The three young osprey have still not left the nest but will fly off if it is windy tomorrow (August 12) or Sunday. A breeze helps them lift off.
