Thanks, pontiac1940. I have taken pictures at that park hundreds of times and never "saw" that composition (a personal struggle).

Probably my last snow geese trip. There are still a lot around and people are still reporting them much farther north. I would go back if it gets crazy. Tyrrell Lake is only 40 minutes from our house.

Most pleasing composition on the lower photo Helen. Nice. The few leaves remaining on trees here are a bleck brown now. What color is "bleck" pontiac? <smyle>

When I quoted you, like I did here I got both you and myself. How are you able to do that? Sometimes when I quote people I get more than that.

Some images from yesterdays trip to the Victorian State Rose Garden. The second image shows a female fairy wren hiding within the rose bush.

It seems the plucky little Australian magpie will take on anything to protect its young. This one hounded what I think is a wedge-tailed eagle, for a minute or so until it eventually gave up and moved on. Several times it swooped in and attacked but alas I was not fast enough to capture it. Bird Info

Some images from yesterdays trip to the Victorian State Rose Garden. Gorgeous Jacki. Did the roses have much scent?
