Probably my last snow geese trip. There are still a lot around and people are still reporting them much farther north. I would go back if it gets crazy. Tyrrell Lake is only 40 minutes from our house.   |

It seems the plucky little Australian magpie will take on anything to protect its young. This one hounded what I think is a wedge-tailed eagle, for a minute or so until it eventually gave up and moved on. Several times it swooped in and attacked but alas I was not fast enough to capture it. Bird Info |
