Feeling well enough today for short venture out. Nice reward Jim. I like your GBHE photo better than the one our gang slaved over for me. (They did a great job.)

Y'all ca guess what this is... A single cellphone photo with no editing outside of the phone. Just the normal cellphone inhouse edits out of our control.

Clive, my guess would be a red balloon stuck in a tree?

Clive, my guess would be a red balloon stuck in a tree? I was standing under a large canopy/awning look up. A Manitoba maple tree hangs above it and the leaves graced the red canopy. Neat effect.

I haven’t heard of Dogbane beetles before Clive. You have certainly captured its iridescent colour in that image.

When was the last time you saw a hotel offering a room with a bath? When I check in, I assume a bath is included!!! I might try a day to night scene with this. Stay tuned! i.ibb.co/MM7sgBw/IMG-3897-2.jpg

Large black wasp schlepping a barely alive Mormon cricket. Wow - that was a great catch (for him and for you LOL) - I can't believe he's trying to move something that large.

Wow - that was a great catch (for him and for you LOL) - I can't believe he's trying to move something that large. It was fun to watch although the "cricket" was looking like the Norwegian Blue Parrot (Monty Python skit). The wasp grabbed the cricket with its large claspers and was able to push ahead with its legs. The cricket had to have weighed five times the wasp. ( Mormon Cricket is the official common name of the katydid insect.)
