Took several pictures of this water tower in a nearby town today. At first I thought the birds were lights or some kind of ornament at the top of the tower....they were there the whole time I was shooting. When I zoomed in I saw that they were actually birds. u.cubeupload.com/HMCA/DSC5980EditEdit.jpgImage added with cubeupload.

Not totally sure, but look like Turkey Vultures. The bills are pretty distinctive. And they are all black. Maybe Clive will take a look? cjt

Not totally sure, but look like Turkey Vultures. My thought as well, but wasn't sure enough to actually name them. Think this calls for the Birdman of PSE&M ( pontiac1940 )!

Can't make out the red heads but they are likely young turkey vultures. hmca There is always a summer population of turkey vultures in the river valley and in the city.

Edited because my comment failed to save first time... Early morning bike ride to Palm Beach on a cool, grey morning. Certainly blew the cobwebs away.

Beautiful light and detail, Clive. Thanks Helen. I sat in a chair on the deck and I threw peanuts onto the paver walk below the deck expecting it to land in a tree. Nope, right in the railing about 7 feet away. Love jays. They loudly squawk their presence demanding to be fed.

Although I couldn't see the sun, I could see the way it's light was illuminating the windows of the condos on the beach at sunrise this morning.

The roof at our local hospital. Well that has me confused.....as I'm guessing you meant to do?

The roof at our local hospital. Well that has me confused.....as I'm guessing you meant to do? Yes, intentional, I thought it was great architectural design and unusual perspective. Corrected in PSE using Skew and personal filter applied in Nik Analogue to render tones a bit more warmly.
