ackkkkk.....heat domes are not for me. (40C = 104F) We never get this type of weather (Victoria, BC, Canada)!!! This morning, my neighbor across the way put blackout screens on the outside of his windows. and.......ahaha.....I think my weather station has heat stroke because it is telling me it is raining out when there is not a cloud in the sky.

That's hot Pat! Too hot for mere mortals. I'd take a Polar Vortex over this damn Heat Dome thingy.

If only you could send some of that warmth down to me, hoping to get to 15c today... hope it doesn't last too long.

Funny; this time of year, we are usually in the heinously humid mid-90s or above; yet, for the last several days, we barely get out of the low-humidity 70s.
Low humidity and 70s makes for a lot better saw-milling than suffucacious humid 90s.

Central Florida. It started early. Already tired of it and I have 4 more months of this heat and humidity. (Escaped to Chicago last week and they had the same weather). 😩 Maybe it’s advancing age or maybe it is hotter these last few years. No matter which, I’m so over it. And don’t get me started about Hurricanes. Although now a tropical storm, Elsa's heading our way - will be interesting to see how much rain we get. Every time they say Elsa - I flash on Let it Go - Let it Go. Someone had a sense of humor when naming this Hurricane. We had 10 inches of rain in June. Good news, our pond is full. Bad news, our pond is full. Our neighbors just spent big bucks to fill their new swimming pool. They've been draining it daily because it's overflowing from the rain. But, then again, my grass is beautiful and my water bill is low. 😉 And everywhere I look - green, green, green. So beautiful.

Elsa update. All we got from Elsa was rain and less than 30 mph winds. We are a couple of hours northeast of Tampa, where today’s worst was supposed to hit, but she didn’t seem to pound Tampa either
Thank God
