I first learned about the Cyanotype effect in Photoshop from the PSE & More Forum.

Here is an interesting and moving 6 minute video on Youtube showing how a 120 year old negatives were recently developed using the Cyanotype process. Now, I have a greater respect for this technique. In its day. it was an important way to preserve memories. Technology has changed, but our desire to preserve memories is still the same. I have no idea how the photographer managed to get the cat still enough to take the picture with the slow shutter speeds they used in those days. I struggle to get my cat to pose long enough with a modern dslr! As soon as I reach for my camera she turns the other way!
