Plenty of windows + a kite

I find your first image with the owls very interesting, Peterj. I like it a lot. To be honest, the second one leaves me a bit confused. In sore need of a scrapping and painting! And that's what makes it have so much appeal as a B/W, Jim. I'm sure there must be some interesting images to be found on roads that I rarely travel.....I may need to see if I can find some before the end of this challenge. "Plenty of windows + a kite"..........the kite is a nice addition to the image. Seeing the building with the many windows helps emphasize its height.

The second image is a store window that's been painted, then a circle removed to view the store's inside - I thought it was kinda fun to take a selfie.

From Portland this morning. Edited in ACR. Composing for the curved roofline and angled walls had me struggling. I think I got close.

To quote from its heritage building listing: "The Odd Fellows Hall was constructed in 1888 in the Italianate commercial style that was popular on Victorian main streets. Architect Isaac Erb incorporated classical cast iron columns and large expanses of coloured glass into his design." I wonder what goes on behind those dark glass windows .... Tony

So similar (in my mind) but different organizations. I googled some info as I know nothing about either one of them. Masonic Temple Belfast MaineI also did a quick search as to their differences in case anyone might be interested.

Wasn't quite sure how a very colourful stained glass window would work in black and white but I think it does - this is a window at St Mary's Church at Studeley Castle in the UK. The church goes back to the 15th century but the stained glass windows date to around 1860. Tony

I like how the more modern reflections contrast with the ornate architecture, Pete.
