When I chose Doors for the theme for my last B/W Challenge, I knew I wanted to choose Windows for my next turn. I hoped that Tony or Alex wouldn't pick this subject, and thankfully they didn't. I am including a few from my archives and two I took specifically for this challenge. All were processed in SE. Looking for some additional source to add to my post I found some wonderfully creative window images on Pinterest. You are welcome to include windows from your archives as well as windows that you might shoot specifically for this challenge. Hope you have fun with this topic.

Thanks for starting us off, Karen. Looks like there may be a bit of history here....sepia toning was a perfect choice.

Here's a contemporary take on the theme from Portland this morning. Edited in Camera Raw. Thanks for the theme Helen!

You captured some great reflections and your eye for composition makes all those lines and angles work together, Bill.

Here's a window of a Victorian house although looking at it more closely I see it has hinges so maybe it might be more of a door than a window but I'll post it anyway 'cos I like the symmetry! Tony

I like the symmetry, too. I took a somewhat similar picture today and decided against posting it......BUT since you posted yours, I'll post mine.

Good clarity in your window reflection, Clive. That apple crisp wrap looks tempting!

Thanks Helen. That apple crisp wrap looks tempting! HA HA .. I never even read the dessert card on the table. Was cute little café .. more café than pub as I recall.

Here's a window from today - and old building that is in process of being fixed up and this window had been recently painted and a couple of cracked panes replaced - the first pic is from the outside in and the second is the same window from the inside out. Tony

Well-seen, Judy!
Interesting to see the outside/inside view of you window, Tony. Great idea to present both views. I like how it frames the church and the tools in the foreground.

One from this morning - an old country church found on an old country back road. In sore need of a scrapping and painting!
