Looks like good progress. So you will be mounting a small gimbal-stabilized camera (a la drone) on it so you can control it using your phone. Then it can go on all of those arduous morning walks and you can have a second tea or coffee at home while controlling its movements.

Things are really moving along, Jim! They are now Helen, it's still in a working progress but was able to do a test drive and was surprised how well it performed, I can now tidy me bench up.

Long way to go yet Clive but thinking it will be camera gimbal, maybe controlled by head tracker, I have FPV goggles with head tracker so as you turn your head or look up or down so does the camera gimbal. Aww yea need me tea, there is a gadget you can get that will allow it to follow you, pot of tea following me around would be very nice.

Just an update to how things are going, mechanically is where my experience is good but unfortunately not so good when it comes to electronics, I've got pages of wiring diagrams I've drawn out but no nearer forward, headache, so back to the drawing board tomorrow.

Good luck.....as it seems that you've done something similar before I think you will eventually figure it out. Sometimes walking away from a problem is just what is needed.

Thanks Helen, I was up at 5.30, not unusual for me, after 2 hours took your advise, it's now under the bench so I can't see it, I could search the internet for the information but I think that will just take the enjoyment out of it, as well it is a winter project so no real rush.

Good News..! After spending last few days working on the electrics I've now got the wiring sorted and all 8 motors are now working, Bad News..! I've just blown the main controller so that will have to wait awhile as I'm just in middle of rebuilding one of my RC Helicopters.
