Interesting that your Black Bear are brown; ours are black as crows.
I wish they would make the Department of Fish and Wildlife responsible for the destruction and damage they do; they are the ones who thought it would be such a brilliant idea to turn bunches of them loose on us; they can destroy a car in short order.

Interesting that your Black Bear are brown; Few of the Waterton bears are black black. Some are light brown and some two-tone. Black bears come through or near our summer place (one hour away from the park) almost every year and none have been jet black. The one I saw fishing last week was black. I understand your concern about releasing bears in some areas. Like it or not, some wildlife species are not well suited to roaming around suburban areas or populated rural areas. About 30 years ago there was a movement aimed at restoring bison onto the Great Plains. Just not a good idea. Clive

Hey Clive these are awesome mate, I would imagine brown bear will make a better picture than the back bear, nearest I'd ever get to a bear is the Black bears at Woburn Safari, Bedfordshire.
