As hmca noted a couple of weeks ago, our shoulder weather can be cold and snowy or rather clement. It's been cold at night, but quite nice in the daytime...today was 16°C (60°F), yet was -8°C (18°F) last night. There is ice covering the ponds but the surface melted today. I drove into town and saw a bunch of geese loitering on the ice. There was no wind at the time and it was all very surreal as if they were floating in air or standing on water. Was pretty cool to see. Photos were taken.   The "Big picture" |

Great captures. The third (group) image is interesting. When I first viewed it, I had to stop and look carefully to figure out what was going on. |
