I like the way the fog enhances your image, PeteB

Our fall is earlier than for most here...had some good colors this year and I posted a couple earlier. November 19, 2021. Oldman River Valley. This vertorama shows leafless poplar trees. A couple of recent snows disappeared. Lovely day: sunny, no wind and above freezing. These sage brushes are trying to hold onto a few sage-colored (imagine that) leaves. The natural color of sage leaves is so nice...a dusty, blueish, gray-green. Make sense?

Have had this 6 foot long fall panorama hanging on the wall since it was taken in 2010. It's from a cottage on a lake near Algonquin park that we stayed at for several years and managed to get this shot on September 29 2010 at 5.57pm (thank you EXIF data). This was the original jpg sent for printing in 2010 - I did wonder if I would process differently today so might have to go looking for the original raw files (I think there were five taken with a Nikon D80) Tony

Hangin' In There! This dozen or so leaves refuse to fall.
Great excuse to delay racking!

Beautiful, tonyw . Curious as to what you had this printed on? Imagine it looks majestic on your wall. I don't think I posted this one taken at the park the other day......

Do you mean to tell me that I don't have to wait till they are all down to start raking??? But then I might have to do it more than once!!!

Tis the season for gray skies. We get a lot of sun here, but some fall days are dull and gray. I took these because of the special line clouds. According to EarthSky they are cloud streets. Cloud streets are an atmospheric phenomenon, consisting of long rows of cumulus clouds oriented parallel to the direction of the wind.Slightly different hues ... perhaps because one was looking south and one west.
