- Applied the Spherize filter twice. - Applied an Inner Glow layer style. - Changed the layer blending mode to Luminosity. - Took the file into ON1 Photo RAW (Let it Snow!) - Applied a gradient by Blake Rudis (Cream to Pastel Blue, Soft Light blending mode, 100% Opacity). - Created the final effect with AKVIS Frames (Magic Winter). - Image from Pixabay.

Simple sphere made from the halftone paper from pixabay. Applied the spherize filter twice and then applied a bevel and a drop shadow effect. BG Paper also from Pixabay.

Used Digital Scrapper Tutorial Ornament hanger from DS Started with a circle selection - did not want the background Put selection on its own layer Selected the orb before applying spherize filter Applied spherize filter - only once Used layer styles to enhance orb - glow/shadow Added lens flare Background made with brush I made the brush from a snowflake png using Edit> Define Brush After you define your brush, it's yours to use without installing until you change brushes. Fonts: Billy Ohio Regular for Lyrics Hello Christmas Regular for "Merry" Both fonts are free, but with free fonts, I've noticed you sometimes have restrictions such as not getting capitals or missing letters or numbers. Drew the lines in the bottom corner using the pencil tool Remember - to get a straight line, hold down the shift key while you draw your line

Just ran across this - my favorite orb - made in 2010 - I don't remember what the original photo looked like The 'base' is made from flattening the orb and flipping that layer I always want my orbs to shine like this and wondered how it was achieved, but I'm starting to think it's the photo you choose not any type of added effect
