By default, the thumbnails in the Layers panel are displayed in the Medium size. Some Elements users find they are too small, too hard on their eyes. Don’t despair! This can be changed. Your eyes will thank you. 1. Click on the four-lined square in the upper right corner of the Layers panel. 2. Select Panel Options. 3. Select the Large size. NOTE If your layer consists of an object surrounded by transparency and you want to get a larger view of it, select the Layer Bounds setting. (The Entire Document setting is the default). Elements will enlarge the object as much as possible within the thumbnail without showing all the empty space around it.
