Caterpillar 320B-L Hydraulic Excavator These are the handiest things you can have around; everyone should have one. Besides the obvious task of digging, with extreme strength, they can push, pull, press, lift, and load just about anything. Stuck vehicle ? Pull it out or push it out. Stuck farm tractor or buried bulldozer ? Dig it out; then push or pull it to solid ground. This is the most versatile piece of equipment on a farm. Engine: Caterpillar 3066T 134hp 389ci 6-cylinder Turbocharged Diesel Maximum Reach: 35 ft Maximum Digging Depth: 25 ft Operating Weight: 45,460 lbs This trackhoe brought $55,000 at auction. 39° 04' 36.64" North Latitude 83° 46' 6.50" West Longitude Elevation: 993' CR60/Stringtown Road Mowrystown, Ohio Highland County Sunday_19-December-2021 This machine is equipped with a manual "Thumb" The linkage can be positioned in either of three holes for various angles. The bucket then clenches whatever against the "thumb" This is a necessity for picking up tree trunks, logs, brush, house roofs and walls, and etc. More modern Thumbs have a hydraulic cylinder in place of the rigid linkage so that the thumb can be brought against the bucket instead of the bucket being brought against the thumb. Notice that someone has used a welding rod to permanently write the model and serial number on the bucket. This is not as easy as it looks; I have done the same myself, writing my name on the frame of livestock trailers, trucks, tractors, implements, and the like; it is hard to deny ownership when one's name is welded into the frame.

Thanks for the tip Buckskin. Very handy piece of equipment. I'll run out and get one tomorrow. I wonder how it would go over in my HOA.

Thanks for the tip Buckskin. Very handy piece of equipment. I'll run out and get one tomorrow. I wonder how it would go over in my HOA. You're welcome ! They are a lot of fun to operate; when you are sitting in that cab, you are definitely the one in charge; you will have a blast ! As for the Home Owners Association, they will love it; everyone likes a neighbor that owns a trackhoe. Several years ago, they tried home owner's associations and restrictions on properties being auctioned, even a gated community or two; it didn't take long before the gates came down and now all auction ads have at the top of the page in big bold print "This property sold with NO RESTRICTIONS" A lot of realtors and speculators went busted getting stuck with restricted land that maybe had one house built on it and the rest sitting vacant.
