My inclination was to fill the empty spaces around the photo, but I stopped myself - (when you have a lot of empty space around a photo, it's called 'white space' I'm not a fan of white space it mostly looks unfinished to me) Background was from an old layout - made of many layers. Added the dots because they remind me of bubbles I don't know who did the background - it may even had been me, but I kinda doubt that Note the brush stroke used as a 'tag' to delineate the title (the title without the brush stroke would not have been readable) For those who can't read it - The 'repair order' says: Crown Bay Center 01-17-15 Repair Crack photo - cats4jan Inspiration - the crack in the sidewalk (Isn't he cute)

Beautiful page Janice with just the right amount of embellishment. I do like your trick of using a brush as a tag. I keep forgetting that brushes can be used in that way. Yes he is...lol.

I love your colour choices, and though your main character lacks any sort of official credentials, he is cute and close enough to know a crack when he sees one....
