This 330-horsepower Versatile 935 articulated tractor is on the North (West) side of US Hwy 62; across the highway from CR207; in the same field as the Gambrel Roof barn with the cannonball hole in the roof.

I would guess that big tractor had something to do with those water-filled ruts in the foreground.
These huge level fields do not drain very well.
It is my understanding that generations ago, these fields had miles and miles of perforated tile installed beneath the surface that drained the water away to drainage canals.
If these tile are not maintained, then you eventually end up with what is seen in this photo = a swamp.
I know it is a big concern amongst land owners who have made the mistake of leasing their tiled and drained land to the big solar panel concerns who are driving the panel support posts into the ground with no regard for the drainage tiles, driving the posts right through the tile in many instances.
Once the solar business goes flop, and it will, then these land owners will be faced with the task of reinstalling the tiles.
Manufactured between 1978-1982 by Versatile in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Originally selling for $112,700, it is equipped with a 903 cubic inch, 330-horsepower, liquid-cooled, 8-cylinder, V-block, Cummins VT-903-C330 Turbocharged Diesel engine, coupled to a Sliding Gear Transmission with Three Gears, plus Reverse, in Four Ranges providing 12 speeds forward and 4 speeds reverse.
It has eight tires, size 20.8-38, meaning they are 20.8-inches wide on a 38-inch rim, 72.2-inches tall.
As delivered, the tractor weighs 20,000 lbs.
The fuel tank holds 185 gallons.

This is one real wheel-horse of a tractor and a rare sight for sure.
