This trailer, lettered Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport - Emergency Medical Unit, was parked in the back corner of the Shell gas stop lot.
The Shell was previously a fuel stop for trucks; but, they have eliminated all of the truck pumps and have various old junk boats parked under the canopy.
I guesstimate this trailer to be of 1950s or early 1960s vintage, maybe 36'- or 40'- long.
This old war-horse is built like a tank compared to the paper-thin dry-van trailers on the road today; the load is not going to shift and come through the wall of this one.
It would interesting to know the history of this trailer; where has it been and what has been it's purpose since leaving the airport; and also it's future; hopefully not the scrappers.
Where she sits right now is 71-miles from the airport.
Located in Hebron, Kentucky, the airport was approved in 1942 as a military airbase and opened 12-August-1944, with the first B-17 bombers beginning practice runs on August 15.
The first commercial flight, an American Airlines DC-3 from Cleveland, landed on January 10, 1947, at 9:53 am, with a Delta Air Lines flight following moments later.

It is interesting to note in the link provided how the airport could go for quite some time without trouble and then have two disasters within a couple weeks; this happened on at least two occasions.
It is also interesting to note how passenger air travel has almost became extinct, while the airport has became one of the largest cargo plane hubs in the world and a major hub for Amazon.
