Hi! If I use facial recognition on a folder and I choose "Ignore" or "Not a person" the same face appears again and again after pressing "Save". This is quite a nuisance, since I have to click away unknown persons on the background of pictures hundreds of times for a large folder. Is there a way to permanently ignore persons? Regards, Robert

No, I'm refering to PS Elements 13. I do want to detect the faces on the photos. But if a face is detected and i choose "Ignore" or "Not a person", the same face shows up again and again. 1. I select a folder 2. I start face detection. 3. Faces are detected and I am asked to name them (around 10 at once in windows). Here I can also choose "Ignore" and "Not a person". If this windows is closed by clicking "save" the next 10 or so faces are shown. The problem is that the ignored faces are shown again and again and so are accumulating. So after some time 9 out of 10 faces are ignored persons and the whole process becomes tedious. I hope this explanation is understandingly! Regards, Robert

Hi Robert, welcome to PSE&M! Glad to have you here.
Let's try this.
In the Organizer, go to Edit>Preferences>Media-Analysis . . . and turn off "Analyze Photos for People Automatically". Then click on the OK button.
NOTE: Do not click on "Restore Default Settings". This will restore the Organizer's Preferences file to its default settings.

Great; thanks Sepiana! I have the same annoyance, but kept forgetting to ask about it.
Robert, welcome, and thanks for asking this question!
