Everything in my life is subject to digital scrapbooking BTW - the roof damage is repaired - the screened porch repair has to wait for an opening - pun not intended

I have gained such an appreciation of digital scrapbooking from seeing your layouts. Like the way you have presented everything and the cloud and water droplets work perfectly. Are the droplets a png. file?

Great way to keep track of the events in your life. Good to know that you had minimal damage.

Helen, the water droplets are a png. I duplicated, then flipped and rotated the layer and moved it over to the other side - then erased any droplets that interfered with text. That’s why I love pngs. They are so manipulatable. Yea, I probably made up that word 😜 but you get the drift
This is not a template. You can probably tell that because of its simple design.
I added brush strokes under the title and under the text to give it more interest.
My scrapbooking is unlike most, I will take a photo and use it differently than others would. Weird things just pop into my head.
Right now, I have so few photos, I am really struggling to make layouts.
BTW - Just found out today that the tornado actually went through our community. There is a definite path of really large trees down and there is much more roof damage than originally reported. Luckily it was only a Category 1. Our houses are built to withstand hurricanes, but that doesn’t mean shingles and screens are immune to wind damage.

It's frightening to see never mind experience these tornado's. Glad you haven't had much damage to your home Janice. BTW just checking, is that the right date you have on your page?

the right date you have on your page? DUH Nope But it does go along with the two checks I wrote the other day - good thing I hadn't yet mailed them. For some reason I flashed on writing the wrong date, so I opened the envelopes and both checks had the wrong year. I don't know what it is about 2022 that makes me so confused. Thanks for the heads up. It's fixed. Plus, I found another mislabeled file with a 2020 date instead of this year's. I wonder how many others are out there...

I am glad there are others like me. I signed a cheque the other day, and misspelled my surname. I blame technology, nobody uses pen and paper these days.
