What about a video converter program anyone use wonder share? I am wondering if this might be helpful for you? It was actually recommended to me by someone from Apple when I couldn't get quicktime to play a slide show I had created. It is a free program that you can download.

Hi Arbama,
I just moved my reply from your other thread but can't get it to appear below yours. See if the above info might be helpful to you. I have used it to play a slideshow that I created and sometimes to play videos.

If I can't get quicktime to play a video, I will use it. I haven't created another slide show. Hope it helps you. If you find it helpful for what you want to do, please post a follow-up as it may be helpful to other members.

What about a video converter program anyone use wonder share? From the replies so far I'm not sure if you are asking about a video player or a video converter. I shoot a lot of video as well and on occasions when I need to convert video from one format to another I use the Emicsoft Video Converter

I may be wrong (and if I am, hopefully, arabma will correct me) but her question seems to be about neither a video player nor a video converter. I think it has to do with a video-editing program. Anyway, this is how it started in another thread. She asked for our input on Premiere Elements. These two posts show how her original question developed into the one in this thread.

NOTE: Her other thread was primarily about upgrading from Elements 7 to Elements 13, the pros and cons.

oh ok, in that case I can highly recommend Premiere Elements. I have used it for a few years now and once you become familiar with it, you can create some very flashy looking videos.

Thanks for the clarification!
Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements are two independent programs. The former is a photo-editing program; the latter is a video-editing program. They can be purchased individually or as a combo. If you have use for both of them, buying the combo will give you a price break. Whenever Adobe releases a new version of Photoshop Elements, it also releases a new version of Premiere Elements. Both programs are available for Windows and Mac; both programs offer 30-day free trials.
Buying Guide--Photoshop Elements vs Premiere ElementsPremiere Elements: Adobe TV
As I mentioned in another thread, we don't offer a Premiere Elements board in this forum. We strongly encourage Premiere Elements users to post in the Adobe Premiere Elements forum where they will get timely and expert advice on this program.
Hopefully, this will help you make an informed decision, one which will meet your needs, interests, and budget.
EDIT: Here is the link to download a 30-day free trial of Premiere Elements or the Photoshop Elements/Premiere Elements combo. (Scroll down to "View all available free trials".)
