Often on this site, when I hi-lite some text, wishing to copy/paste it, I will get an entirely different right-click menu that I only ever see here. I am not saying I couldn't get the weird right-click menu somewhere else, just that here is the only place that I ever see it; and, it will show up in nine of ten tries.
There is no "Copy" option in this weird menu; however, there is an option "Cast"; does anyone know what "Cast" is or does ?
I made several attempts at getting a screen-shot; however, in every instance, as soon as I tried, the right-click menu would immediately vanquish into thin air and could not be captured.
For whatever it's worth, most of the options in many right-click menus make no sense to me.

I would assume that "right-click" is an OS function. I get exactly the same thing here as any other site/app, except there may be extra options available in a particular app. That's a "content-sensitive" response. As for capturing pop-up windows/notifications or sub (and even base) menus, you might find one of the many small (sometimes free) apps that allow timed or delayed captures.

According to the test I have just been carrying, I may have an explanation, but I can't be sure because my Windows OS is in French. Since you don't get the word 'cast' regularly by right clicking on a text selection, I supposed the text had to be 'special', that is not plain text, but be a link or similar. For instance, if I highlight and right click the title of your present thread, or one of the links at the bottom of this forum displayed on my Firefox, I do get a contextual menu with one of the options being 'envoyer à un appareil'. This can be translated 'cast to a device' or 'send and publish' in another device. The result of the 'cast' menu is a list of my existing computers and smartphones using the same Firefox browser. If I open my smartphone with Firefox, I get a notification that a new tab has been opened showing the content of the link.
Someone may have a more technical description of 'casting', but that seems to be what you are seeing yourself.
