Greetings. I used to be a member when it was "Elements Village", or something similar. Haven't done much photography the last few years because of health and mobility problems. While looking through my old bookmarks yesterday I saw this forum so decided to check it out again.

Welcome back Jim! Elements Village is the correct name you remember. You will see many names here familiar to you and many new ones as well.

Thanks for your warm welcomes. I tried to post in the Today's pictures thread by clicking on reply but kept getting the message "Oops, there was an error! You may not reply to this thread." I see instructions for everything except how to post to a thread here.  Can someone direct me to where the post a photo or comment instructions are? Thanks. |

Jim, as long as you are signed in first, you shouldn't see that error message. At the bottom of the quick reply you will see where to add an image:  If you choose Reply from the top right corned it will open the space seen below. This allows you to preview what your image will look like before posting it.

Hi Jim , and welcome! I was also an Elements Village member, so I'm glad you found us.
We are much the same in the way of community and expertise, but because this forum is hosted differently there are several user-interface differences. The FAQs can be helpful, but the easiest way to get up to speed is probably just to ask how to do what you want to do. Be assured you will get a prompt and accurate response. |
