This rough-looking old homeless vagrant that rode in on a boxcar had the honor of being the first head of hair my cute little sidekick has ever cut. She couldn't have chosen a better head for her first victim as there's not much one could do to hurt a head like that. He said it was fine to take a few photos, but requested I try to keep his face out of the shots as he had several fugitive warrants against him; I don't think anyone will recognize him from these shots. The style she is going for is a reverse Mohawk. Considering what she had to work with, I think she did an excellent job; after she gets in a bit more practice, I may even let her cut my hair. When I get a good keen edge on my Great-Granddaddy's straight razor, I am gonna let her try her hand at shaving; she's got a keen eye and a steady hand. I hope those are his glasses, and not hers. When I was a dog groomer, I always cut my husband, and father's hair with my electric clippers. Saved them a fortune in barber fees. I notice she has her scissors, and brush, too. Very professional. She remembered a cape for him, too.

No matter what she is about, I always make sure she has all the tools she needs at hand. Beside the brush, just out of the picture, is some flea & tick powder and a can of chicken mite dust.

This young lady will have acquired so many useful skills under your excellent tutelage, hope the razor exercise goes well for you. First aid and wound management should be high on the list.

Thanks for that; I appreciate that !
Earlier that same day, we didn't have a photographer to document it and I had my hands full helping hold the pieces; we put a new floor in the bird feeder and drilled and bolted a piece that was splitting. I let her do all the drilling and drive all the screws, plus she hammered in a bunch of nails that had held the old floor; and, she got to use the ratchet and socket to tighten the new bolt that pulled the split together. She didn't mash my fingers, nor run any of those needle-sharp screws through them.
Later that night, she got to check my blood pressure with the real deal where you use a stethoscope and pump it up and then release the pressure while you listen. I thought my fingers were going to fall off before she quit pumping up that arm collar thingie; and then, she had to leave it pumped up while she asked the wife about the next step in the procedure --- me sitting there while the ends of my fingers turned black. She finally finished and pronounced me good for another twenty years; she said something about 280 over 325; I guess that's good....
And, we watched Tangled twice and The Help four times straight through.

She has great taste in movies, can’t say that I’ve seen either of them, but Why so many times in a sitting?
