I'm looking for recommendations on photo printing.
For regular 4x6 prints, I have used both Shutterfly or Snapfish and I was ok with them. However, since I've purchased my Canon PRO-100 printer, started using Red River Paper, and have a color-managed workflow, I guess my standards have been raised. I love the prints from my printer with the RR Ultra Satin paper. However, I have a batch of about 50 pictures I want to print and that gets a little cost prohibitive with the printer. Do other forum members use services for 4x6 prints and what do you recommend?

Andy, I don't do much printing but I used AdoramaPix a few times and was rather pleased with the results.

I print to 8.5x11 sheets - 3 - 4x6's on each - 2 vertical and 1 horizontal and then cut them out. I find this a little cheaper then doing individual 4x6's. ~bruce.

I have used shutterfly when they send an offer for free prints. As Joe noted, Costco does a pretty good job as long a you are good with glossy.

Our Costco has the option of luster......which I prefer. My Epson printer is in need of repair........the nearest authorized dealer is quite a distance so I have been in printing limbo. Maybe this week, I'll try again and hope the problem magically disappeared.
