Yo - How does one change the perspective on the copy/paste segment (highlighted in red outline on attachment) to conform with the rest of the photo? Goal is to get it in alignment with the larger view in order to crop for a smaller "improved" view. Thank you. Appreciated.

I have to say I do not entirely understand your question. It looks to me like the red outline is the corner just above and to the left of it. If that is the case, you have a photo that is self-consistent. What am I not understanding?

thehikermann , it might help if you added your straight image without the markings as well. That might give people a better idea of how to approach your problem. Another option you might want to consider is to post on the Member to Member Advice board. This would allow members to download your image and make sure their suggestion would work for you before posting it.

As Helen says need to see the image, if I wanted to manipulate part of an image to get different perspective I would, New Blank Layer then draw a straight line, then do few Copy Layers, with the move tool on each layer move the lines to form the perspective you require, then press control j to copy your image, then use transform tool to manipulate the image (the perspective area you want), edit, you will then need to remove the unwanted area of copy image to bring background image into view.

If I understand what you are wanting = make the size of the stones the same --- right ?
I would paste the patch on a separate layer and then use the Move tool to drag a corner to make the patch either larger or smaller.
You can also tilt and turn the patch if need be.
When you choose the Move tool, make sure "Show Bounding Box" or whatever is checked.
As soon as you "grab" a corner, the Move options should display "Constrain Proportions"; this will keep your length and height in perspective.
When it suits your eye, just click the green check-mark to commit your work.
If you mess up, just discard that layer and paste the patch on another empty layer.

If I understand this correctly ... When the new section is placed onto the main image you can: Image >> Transform >> Skew Drag the corners of the inserted image to conform with the perspective of the main image.  |
