The 52frames challenge this week (due tomorrow 12 midnight EDT) is abstract. I've had loads of fun creating many possibles and have narrowed it down to these two. Your input as to which is "more abstract" is requested. The first is ICM (ND filter used) of an eye catching arrangement in my front yard. The second is a flower in my front yard blended with the first.

I prefer the first one without the flower, the shorter strokes in the foreground lend it some depth I think.

I agree with Jacki. Wonderful colors. I am wondering if using a filter or distorting a bit to enhance the idea of movement that Jacki noted might work....or perhaps adding a texture might be an option if that is allowed?

Thank you both ... I'll give a motion blur a try.

Very interesting concept. I am drawn to the darker one, but both have appeal. If you would like to go in another direction: Pulled Pixels
