About size - I'm concerned it annoys others when they run into a lot of these large images in one thread.
I just wish I had an option to make it about half the size.
I don't wish to use another file sharing site. Too many steps to get it in the forum.

I just wish I had an option to make it about half the size. There are several sizes to choose from, although sometimes I have to delete my post and redo it because I chose a size I didn't like. Most of the time the 15 inch setting works for me.

I'll try the different settings and see what I can come up with. Thanks.

Thanks Helen for this weeks EP Challenge. I just basically converted to B&W in LR. In PSE I added an old 50's car to give it an old vintage look. Wonderful job all on your entries.

I thought that we could move St. Paul's Basilica from the Vatican into the forest and add a more interesting approach to it than the current busy road.

Hi storkington,
To be honest, I find using ANY religious icons in this type of forum as offensive and totally disrespectful.
It never ceases to amaze me when people choose to potentially "mock" religious icons, intentionally or unintentionally, they usually choose the "softer target" christian religions and not the non-christian groups like Islam.
I wonder what sort of reaction you would receive on your own web site if you used a Muslim Mosque instead?
BTW, you forgot to add some perspective to the paving. The vertical paving looks totally unrealistic to me.

I am not in any shape or form being disrespectful of any religion with what I have posted and I take offensive at you suggesting that I am. As for your criticism of the paving, thank you for that. Photos aren't always about being realistic, and this certainly was the intent here. In future, if you have an issue with anything I post may I respectfully ask that you contact me directly rather than airing it in public?

This behavior is unwarranted.

I am quite happy to express my opinions and views in public and stand by them. I don't hide behind pm's. People can then choose to agree, disagree or discuss my views in public. You are entitled to express your opinion and I am entitled to express mine. So, here, we can just agree to disagree on this one and I will continue to express my opinions elsewhere since you don't want to discuss our differing views in public as is your right to do so.

fstop, . For the record, I am not happy to just agree to disagree on this one. I would like an apology for your personal attack on me. Your tone is confrontational, and your accusation is totally unfounded as my submission does not mock religion in any way.

I haven't made any accusations against you at all.
I expressed 2 OPINIONS.
Opinion 1:
"To be honest, I find using ANY religious icons in this type of forum as offensive and totally disrespectful."
Opinion 2:
'It never ceases to amaze me when people choose to potentially "mock" religious icons, intentionally or unintentionally, they usually choose the "softer target" christian religions and not the non-christian groups like Islam.'
If you disagree, that's fine. I have no problem with people disagreeing with me.
If I understand your replies correctly, it appears to me that you feel that no-one at all has any right to feel offended by your image. And if they do feel offended by it, you take offence at them expressing being offended in public. Have I missed or misunderstood something?

I have to say that I can't see in any way that Simone has offended any religion. If that's not what you meant, why the post?
This thread is about creativity, so I agree that if Someone offended you, you should take it up with her in a PM. That's polite and common sense in my opinion.

I think maybe I'm the one who is missing or misunderstanding something here. I fail to see how Simone's image could cause offence and be considered 'mocking'. It's not as if she has taken an Islamic crescent or a Jewish Star of David and placed them on top of the basilica! She has taken a picture of a beautiful building and placed it in a beautiful landscape. How is this disrespectful and offensive? Maybe it's because I am not a Christian that I don't get it?

When I do Save for Web I make the longest side 750px, then when I upload it to postimage.org I choose 640x480 (for message boards) - I find this makes a nice size for viewing in a thread (not too large) I've taken the liberty of posting what your image would look like with my suggestion: What do you think?
