Nice shot of Roaring Camp & Big Trees Narrow Gauge Railroad Dixiana Locomotive.
Regarding replacing the sky, did you choose the sky from your own collection(or someone else's); or, does On1 Photo Raw have an onboard selection of skies to choose from ?
Regarding the HDR, I have had no experience with any of the "new" options; I have mostly used Free Luminance for all of my HDR creations; with the methods you mentioned, do you have various "generators" and tone-mapping methods to choose from ? Although Luminance is very easy to use, it can get somewhat involved; and, a choice made anywhere along the way can dramatically change the output.

Photo Raw comes with numerous sky shots to pick from - the one I chose was from a set that came as bonus when I purchased the Software. You can also upload your own sky images to use. I attempted to do an HDR conversion of this using NIK's HDR module (I think Google Photos uses NIKs process since they owned the Software for awhile) followed by On1's. I found On1's output was more to my liking in this instance. Photo Raw's HDR conversion is pretty simple - select your bracketed shots, see a preview of the output and make Tone/Color and HDR option selections on it before saving. After saving you can still edit these options as well as make additional edits in the Effects, Sky or other editing tabs.

The new sky adds lots of interest and drama. I really like the color grading/toning you achieved.
