I like your frame Clive. I have seen that effect before; something from the Filter Gallery, yes?

Simon (palomino) is Anne's horse and Checks belongs to Tony. I think your friends will love your photos. The horses are beautiful.

I have seen that effect before; something from the Filter Gallery, yes? Thanks Tom. I "made" the frame myself ... of course, with the aid of PSE. Something like this. - Went back to the original photo and sized it larger than the actual horse photo inset
- Blurred the (now) background, texturized it and lightened it.
- You can see how the bushes in the inset photo edges (subtly) carrying into the blurred background
- Fiddled until I was okay with it.
- Added a stroke border to the background, then increased the canvas size 30 pixels or something like that
- Using "Edit layer styles" added a stroke and bevel to the inset photo
- Fiddled a bit more.

I totally agree with Lillias, beautiful subjects who know how to pose well.

I think there's a big bear over there to the left that has had their attention in every picture; else, Clive set up the tripod and is standing over there rattling that sack of candy.
They look much better with their attention to the left that if they were looking at the camera. I keep saying the left --- photo left = their right.
All these horse pictures gave me the incentive to soap and oil my big saddle and take some pictures. I see now why I don't do it twice a week; I started at 8:00 this morning and I have just now hung it back on the rack and washed the harness oil off my hands --- and I did a quickie job. If my workbench hadn't been buried under a million things, I would have took the time to remove every piece, part, and particle so that I could get into all the nooks and crannies.
And, I have three more to go. My big old saddle is way too big for my cute little sidekick; but, I have another that is just like Baby Bear's soup. I told the wife of our plans to ride Ol' Henry and she just rolled her eyes and said "are you sure that's a good idea; you know how he can be"

Just the trail-mix" Ziploc bag to get their attention. I told the wife of our plans to ride Ol' Henry and she just rolled her eyes and said "are you sure that's a good idea; you know how he can be" HA HA!
