We are actively looking for assistance with the operation of our forum. The forum admins are all volunteers who are doing this in addition to jobs and other activities. We have lost 2 of the original 6 members of our team since the forum started and we really need the help.
We are looking for individuals to be Board Moderators. As a Board Moderator, you would be responsible for:
1) Contributing to the board(s) to help encourage participation
2) Monitoring posts on one or more boards for:
- Inappropriate posts
- Threads that should be closed for any reason
- Posts in the wrong board
[You would be given elevated permissions on the board to enable you to perform the above items.]
3) Providing general forum suggestions and recommendations to the forum admins via a Moderator's board that we will be setting up.
We can have multiple moderators per board and you can determine which board(s) you want to moderate.
There is no specific time commitment for this. Our primary request is that you are able to monitor your board(s) on a regular basis. Other moderators and the admins will provide support.
