Hi everyone….. WOW…..there were lots of great images submitted this week and I had a hard time whittling them down……. Honorable Mentions go to:Rose Triptych by Christell – what a creative way to blend the frame of the triptych into the roses and I love the added touch of the tape. Exploring the Grounds by Dandc – the composition, colors and the way your eye is led to the building in the distance is delightful and this is a truly great image. Jazz Guitarist by Pete B – this is one of the best photos to color sketches that I have seen. Well done. The Old Mill by Dean08 - ….Dean, I would love to see the full size of your image, but what I can see is fascinating and I love the sense of motion implied by the waterfall and wheel. …and welcome to Zephod. I enjoyed your images and am looking forward to more submissions! …and Angelag, your sunset is wonderful, but really indicative of the threat of forest fires that our area is under – scary times. The Image of the Week [DRUM ROLL………….]
Tiger Cub by DRJOEROGERS –I recently dove into the world of texture and have not come out yet…..I LOVE everything about this image and the way the cub is highlighted by the background. …what wonderful coloring and eyes. He/she looks so LITTLE, but so full of baby self-confidence!

Congratulations to all who had their work selected. Special congrats to drjoerogers......along with the textures I like the way you processed this to make it look like his head is coming right off the screen!
