Great Job !I believe you have this firecracker business down pat.
The first couple years after we got our Big Girl Cameras, we (mostly me) made many attempts to capture both fireworks and lightning; we would try to anticipate just when to click the shutter and might catch the action about one time in five hundred.
Now, I think we know the trick.
I should be practicing on my neighbors; they have been shooting off thousands of dollars ever since the middle of June and they won't slow down until the middle of August.
I could live pretty high on the hog with what they blow on fireworks.
There is one silver lining; any horse around here is gun broke and don't even flinch.
Way back when we had our Border Collies, they hated it and would claw their way through the door to get inside and under the bed until it was over; they were fearless until the first pop of a firecracker and then their nerves turned to jelly.
They would tackle a tiger so long as he didn't have any firecrackers.
They were outside dogs and seldom allowed in the house except to watch Gunsmoke.

Thank you for the nice comments. I wish I had put my camera on its side....there were beautiful water reflections. But I didn't think of it till I was out in the dark and was getting myself all flustered trying to do it so gave up.
