Male Ebony Jewelwing Damselfly Calopteryx maculata Wednesday_29-June-2022 On Yellow Poplar leaves hanging high over the spring.
The male was sitting here; and, as soon as he flew away, this female landed on the same leaf.
This is the same female as in the previous photo except that she has relocated to within three feet of the ground and very near the spring branch.
