After receiving the Coffee Shop 4th of July email I decided I wanted to use them to create a scrapbook page. After a good bit of time spent over a few days I have finally decided that this is as far as my patience can take me.

Thanks, Janice. It was a struggle.....when I finally thought of adding the labels it helped break up the busyness. Even though designing a page is never easy....and I'm not always pleased with the results....I think it's a great learning experience and will continue plugging along. I wish more people would give it a try.

Great page Helen, you have managed the placement of all the photos well, never easy I know. Only took you a few days you say, I've got pages that I've started and haven't come back to in years.....and yet sometimes I can get it done in a couple of hours, that's the beauty of digital scrapbooking yes?

Using busy background papers is always a challenge for me, but you have done it very well. I agree, those labels broke up the page and I see you weren't afraid to overlap photos. Overlapping makes it more interesting - not just a collage of photos, but a true scrapbook page.
