Abstract Curves

Here is a neat little programe that is free to install and use for non commercial use. Although the Demo version has a nag screen, it is still quite powerful and can save full sized images. You can also install a plugin compatible with PS and PS Elements.

I think that scrapbook designers may find this useful to incorporate some of the images in their designs. 

The algorithms generate various abstract shapes and designs, and you can tweak and change the waves and colours. 

If you wish to install the plugin then click on the "Host" button during the install and navigate to your plugin folder. To use the plugin with PS Elements, create a new layer (transparent, white or whatever) and apply the "Abstract Curve" image to that layer. After the image in generated, experiment by changing the layer blend mode (eg, screen or soft light) and create a layer mask or clipping mask to create the frame or other effect you want.
