Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE The Blue color should take center stage in the photo (or photos) you submit for this challenge. Other colors are allowed to "sneak in" but the predominant color of your subject(s) should be Blue. So, tell your camera . . . to go Blue.

I did not have to look far this morning to find blue - in this case the cloudless blue sky over our back garden which signals an oncoming heatwave. i.ibb.co/PD46w7K/Blue-sky.jpgDennis

Blue is my favorite color. Lots to choose from in the kitchen but went with these blue canisters.

Grandpa didn't get the memo about the blue shirt, but to give him a break, at least he has blue insets in his shoe soles. Thanks for the theme Sepiana.

Here's another take on a plain blue sky shot in harsh, late-morning light. Not sure if I like it or not, but it's different.

Kind of Blue: in our yard today. Some flowers and a wind spinner. Kind of Blue is a brilliant 1959 Miles Davis album including tunes like So What, Freddie Freeloader and Flamenco Sketches. I am no audiophile, but this is a great album. Got the CD about 15 years ago and it's available on Amazon Music.

The time of the year when chicory appears along the roadsides here - always reminds me of Camp Coffee (which I was brought up on but never liked much). Still available at the local British shop (along with Marmite that I do like) Tony

The sillouhette of the 3 buildings frame the blue sky and the airplane provides additional interest. Good job!

The tunes are a bit moody and elicit sad emotions but it is a classic blues-jazz album.

It was playing at one of my local coffee shops back in May and couldn't resist the photo. Thanks for planting the earworm. I've got it playing right now.

Jim and billz Glad this brought back some memories. The tunes are a bit moody and elicit sad emotions but it is a classic blues-jazz album. Yes, on both counts. Moody and good. I first heard it in about 2004 while driving to my son's to work on my car (1940 Pontiac). I liked it so bought the CD and play it on occasion on an old CD player or listen online.
