Images submitted to this thread will be considered for the next IOW selections by a member judge. Please remember to add a title to your image. Just a reminder....being that the thread allows for members to include their sources, our members who post on the Digital Scrapbooking/Digital art Board are welcome and encouraged, to submit their work. While you may "Like" an image please don't add comments to this thread. In keeping with this post by Andy all images selected by the judge will all be added to the IOW 2022 Gallery. It is hoped that this small change will encourage more of our members to submit their work and make our galleries more representative of the fine work they continue to share at PSE&M.

Evening hazeIn the countryside around here most roads are gravel .. there is just not enough population to warrant (or pay) to pave endless county roads. I was out looking for photo ops this evening just before sunset and this scene sort of blew me away. Technically, it is a poor photo with the main subject (the vehicle and road dust) not sharp because of heat waves. That atmospheric haze could be natural haze from pollen or "wet haze." And obviously some is dust particulate. The foreground is backlighted barley awns. That sun ray was natural and not added. ACR adjustments were exposure, contrast and selected levels. MD of Pincher Creek, Alberta, July 14, 2022 The 4K version can be seen by clicking this photo.

Well, it was certainly a light week for photographs! But the ones submitted were mighty fine!
Pat's Canadian Rockies is so pretty- very painterly and peaceful. Nice composition!
Kathylee's incognito - well nice catch! I hope it was from afar!
My top choice - Pontiac- your photo is just plain stunning! I can't say lucky shot because you put yourself in the right place at the right time and you have the talent to get the shot. Beautiful!
I could have selected them and am always amazed by the talent in the forum!!

Thanks Judy. Your comments are appreciated and congrats to Clive and KathyLee (yikes....that appears to be close - I hear they can run/swim REALLY fast and if you want to escape you should run in circles because they have a hard time turning!!!)
