You have been busy with your brushes Jacki. Nice outcome too and a gorgeous little bird. I’ve never heard of Fairy Wrens so that sent me to Google and found out that there are all sorts of Fairy Wrens. I’m going to do a BuckSkin now for those who might be interested and provide a link giving more information about them. A Guide to Australia's Fairy Wrens

Beautiful, Jacki! Thanks for the link, Lillias. I don't remember hearing about those birds before either.

I can't remember much, but I recall jackscrap posting photos of fairy wrens before. They are wildly-colored wrens. I like this "watercolor" rendition.

Thank you for posting the link Lillias, there are so many different types and I've probably only ever seen about 3. Very occasionally there have been some in the garden, but they are so flighty that it is impossible to get a photo. This photo was taken at the zoo where they are more used to people milling around.

Beautifully done, Jacki. Nice composition and great blend of background colors. They remind me a little of FrenchKiss textures, but yours are much more subtle and eye appealing.
