Such soothing tones in your image, Dan.

Image from Pixabay. Used a Dodge and Burnished texture from Photomorphis with a Hard Light blend mode. Applied a levels adjustment layer and created a stamped layer. Filter Gallery applied the Rough Pastel Filter and the Canvas Texture Filter.

You have created a scene that has the look and feel of the old masters, Lillias. Just beautiful!

Great use of the filter gallery effects, and I totally agree with Helen's comment.

I concur with Helen and Jacki. I think it also has a bit of a Thomas Kinkade painting feel to it.

Thank you hmca , jackscrap and Jim for your lovely comments. Thank you too Jim for introducing me to Thomas Kinkade, not an artist I had ever heard of. I have just spent a happy half hour looking at his artwork and hope to look again later today.

Found some old pictures last night that I had never processed. Processed using On1 Effects for base. Woman from StockSolo. Texture 77 from Lenabem-Ann

Helen, I REALLY love this! The combining of the images is seamless and totally undetectable. Beautiful job! Plus, the texture helps to create a great mood!

Found some old pictures last night that I had never processed. This picture definitely stirs the imagination because it seems to be telling a story Helen and would look great as a Book Cover. Fab composite.

As noted, what a great merging of two images. Very well done. I read about the home for a few seconds. Sad times.
